Program Description

Event Details

Perimenopause can begin in a woman's mid-30s and last up to a decade, yet it remains widely underdiagnosed and misunderstood.  This prequel to the M Factor focuses on perimenopause and aims to provide awareness, support, and solutions for thriving through it.

"We're starting this conversation earlier, at 35, not 50," say producers Fadal and LaMarca Mathisen. "Too many women are told they're too young or are misdiagnosed. This film is about visibility, validation, and giving women a roadmap."

This 1-hour film features personal stories from women facing perimenopause, and includes discussions with health professionals on hormonal changes and their impact. It also covers the effects on heart, brain, bones, and sexual health.

There will be time for discussion and Q&A at the conclusion with Kelly Tull, WHNP-BC, CSC of the Venus Collective-Women's Health & Intimacy.

Coffee & pastries will be provided. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
