Pages and Packs Pantry

Colorful illustration featuring a backpack and an open book with canned goods, fruits, and vegetables. Text reads "Pages and Packs Pantry." Background shows shelves.

The Pages and Packs Pantry is a collaborative effort between the Joshua Hyde Public Library (JHPL) and the Tantasqua/Union 61 School District, working together to support individuals and families in need throughout the Sturbridge community. This initiative is especially focused on helping students and their families, ensuring they have access to essential food items outside of school hours.

Maintained by volunteers, the pantry offers a variety of non-perishable foods, personal hygiene items, books, and backpacks. Open to everyone, books are provided by the Friends of the Joshua Hyde Public Library, backpacks and hygiene items are funded in part by a grant, and the food relies entirely upon donations.
