The '-ber months' are here, and the JHPL is excited to celebrate all things autumnal, cozy, and creepy with fun events and items to borrow! This year we're hosting a special off-site program designed for children ages 5+ and their families: a scavenger hunt in Sturbridge's Old Burial Ground! This is the perfect chance for patrons to explore a local historical landmark, learn about proper graveyard etiquette, and spend some quality time together outside. Our kit is perfect for amateur sleuths; with an EMF reader and how-to guidebook, anyone can dip their toes into the spooky world of ghost-hunting. The kit is available to be checked out at the library. Just make sure you share any fun and creepy findings with the JHPL librarians!
